Warehouse Associate

Location: Guelph, ON
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Availability: Immediate start required

Express Guelph is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to join a busy warehouse specializing in dental supplies, toiletries, and sanitary products.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, eager to stay busy, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in their work. This is a hands-on warehouse position with a variety of daily responsibilities.

Job Duties:

• Use RF scanners to pick, track, and process products
• Open packages containing incoming product
• Sort and place items into prepacks
• Pack and box prepacks for shipping
• Build and wrap skids for shipment
• Prepare shipments for LTL-style freight
• Build product displays
• Enter and update information in a warehouse inventory/management system
• Update warehouse records using a computer
• Operate pallet jacks and pump trucks
• Use a manual skid wrapper and Exacto knife safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience
• Experience using RF scanners
• Experience with computers and updating warehouse records
• LTL-style shipping experience is a strong asset
• Experience preparing, wrapping, labeling, and staging freight for shipment is an asset
• Experience with pallet jacks/pump trucks is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Eager to stay productive throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle warehouse products safely
• lifting up to 20 lbs
