Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Fluids Specialist for an oilfield services opportunity. This position requires extensive hands-on drilling fluids experience and the ability to safely manage and maintain drilling-fluid systems in a wellsite environment.

💰 PAY & ROTATION

$23.44/HR
$50 per diem
Minimum 14 days on / 14 days off
Field-based oilfield position
Extended shifts based on drilling operations

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage drilling-fluid operations at assigned wellsites.
Monitor and maintain drilling-fluid properties according to operational requirements.
Perform drilling-fluid testing and accurately document results.
Evaluate fluid properties and determine appropriate treatments and adjustments.
Monitor fluid volumes, chemical usage, and product inventory.
Maintain accurate daily reports, testing results, and treatment records.
Troubleshoot drilling-fluid issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor wellsite conditions that may impact fluid performance.
Communicate fluid properties, treatments, inventory needs, and operational concerns to field personnel.
Work closely with drilling crews and customer representatives.
Maintain appropriate drilling-fluid products and materials at the wellsite.
Participate in pre-job meetings and job safety analyses.
Follow all HSE, environmental, customer, and jobsite requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of drilling fluids experience – REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of drilling-fluid systems and chemistry.
Experience performing drilling-fluid testing and interpreting results.
Understanding of drilling operations and circulation systems.
Ability to troubleshoot fluid-related issues in the field.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate field documentation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills when working with field crews and customers.
Must be able to work a minimum 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.
Must be comfortable working extended hours in an oilfield environment.
