About the Company

Express Employment is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver / Service Technician for a local company in the Quad Cities area. This position combines customer deliveries with hands-on service and maintenance of chemical dispensing equipment and commercial dish machines. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and safely deliver products to customer locations according to established schedules.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair chemical dispensing pumps and commercial dish machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate customer concerns or equipment issues to management.
• Work with the Service Manager to prioritize service calls and maintain efficient routing.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and provide professional service.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and applicable environmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 180 lbs. using appropriate equipment or team-lifting techniques.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Class C CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or willingness to obtain one after hire.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical repair, or commercial equipment maintenance.
• Previous experience servicing chemical dispensing systems, commercial dish machines, or similar equipment.
