Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Industrial Painter & Sandblaster to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing, sandblasting, painting, and coating manufactured components while maintaining high standards for quality, appearance, and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare metal and manufactured surfaces for painting and coating.
• Perform sandblasting and surface preparation to remove rust, scale, paint, and other materials.
• Apply industrial paints and protective coatings according to production requirements.
• Perform color matching and ensure consistent paint coverage and finish.
• Inspect completed work for defects, proper coating, and overall quality.
• Follow established quality-control procedures and specifications.
• Operate painting and sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Work with production team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial painting, sandblasting, assembly, maintenance, or construction is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work required overtime.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the workday.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks.
• Ability to work on a manufacturing production floor.
• Must be able to work a four-day, 10-hour-per-day schedule.
• Must be available for mandatory overtime when requested by management.
