WAREHOUSE ORDER PICKER – 1ST & 2ND SHIFT

Location: McCook, IL
Pay: $18.00–$19.50/hour

Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift available

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers for long-term opportunities with a well-established distribution facility in McCook, IL.

This position is responsible for accurately picking, preparing, and staging customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable using RF scanners, working on their feet throughout the shift, and maintaining accuracy while meeting daily productivity expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Pick products accurately according to customer orders and pick tickets.

• Use an RF scanner to locate, scan, and confirm inventory.

• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions before completing orders.

• Pull products from designated warehouse locations.

• Place picked merchandise into totes, carts, or onto pallets for shipment.

• Label and prepare completed orders for packing or outbound shipping.

• Stage completed orders in designated warehouse areas.

• Assist with replenishing picking locations when needed.

• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrectly located inventory.

• Maintain accurate product counts while completing orders.

• Follow FIFO or other inventory rotation procedures when required.

• Maintain an organized and safe work area.

• Meet established quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations.

General Skills & Requirements:

• Previous order picking, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.

• Experience using RF scanners or handheld warehouse devices preferred.

• Ability to read and accurately match item numbers, labels, quantities, and locations.

• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.

• Basic math and counting skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout an 8-hour shift.

• Ability to safely lift and move warehouse products.

• Comfortable working independently while also supporting a team.

• Reliable attendance and transportation to McCook, IL.

• Ability to consistently work the selected shift.

Pay Range:
$18.00–$19.50 per hour
