Accounting & Sales Tax Specialist

Pay: $21–$23/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Days
Location: Owensboro, KY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Sales Tax Specialist to handle daily accounting functions and state sales tax responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

·         Accounts payable and receivable

·         Bookkeeping and account reconciliation

·         Preparing and filing state sales tax returns and reports for multiple states

·         Assisting with invoicing, deposits, and payment processing

·         Maintaining accurate financial records

·         Assisting with monthly and year-end accounting

Qualifications:

·         Accounting or bookkeeping experience

·         Sales tax experience preferred

·         Experience with Excel required

·         Strong attention to detail and organization

·         Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
