We have an opening for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver position working at a company in Moulton, AL that provides poultry farming equipment, hardware, parts, and technical service across North Alabama. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

 

*** PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE DELIVERING INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED ***

 

Skills/Qualifications

A valid Driver's License is required (Class D or higher).

A clean driving record (MVR) is required.

Ability to safely operate a Chevrolet 3500HD pickup truck equipped with a gooseneck trailer.

Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Previous experience delivering industrial equipment is required.

Proven experience in warehouse associate or a related field.

Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and practices, especially in a distribution center environment.

Familiarity with transportation management principles and logistics operations is preferred.

Experience with materials management processes and best practices is highly desirable.

Must have a command of the English language and good verbal and written skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.

Coordinate transportation planning to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.

Implement effective materials management strategies to enhance productivity and minimize waste.

Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline distribution processes.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
