Server (Retirement & Hospitality Dining Services)

Our client is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Server to join their dining services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a hospitality, retirement residence, or healthcare dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent dining service to residents and guests
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely, accurate delivery
• Set and clear dining room tables
• Prepare trays and assist with meal service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining environment
• Follow all food safety, allergy, and dietary guidelines
• Use POS systems to enter meal orders accurately
• Assist with catering, special events, and dining room set-up/tear-down
• Communicate resident feedback and special requests to the kitchen team
• Promote a positive dining experience through professional and courteous service

 

Qualifications:

• Current Food Safety Certification
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety practices and allergy awareness
• Previous serving or food service experience
• Experience working in a retirement residence, long-term care, hospitality, or healthcare environment, considered an asset
