POSITION SUMMARY

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Food Truck Driver / Kitchen Staff position with a growing local food-service company. This is a hands-on position requiring employees to both drive food trucks and work inside the truck preparing food, serving customers, cleaning, stocking, and completing opening and closing duties.

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.

JOB DUTIES

• Safely drive food trucks to scheduled locations and events
• Set up and prepare the truck for service
• Prepare and cook food according to established procedures
• Take customer orders and provide friendly customer service
• Operate the register and process cash and card transactions
• Maintain proper food temperatures and food-safety standards
• Clean fryers, equipment, counters, floors, and work areas
• Stock food, supplies, and equipment
• Complete opening and closing procedures and checklists
• Assist with inventory and restocking
• Fuel trucks and generators when required
• Work at regular locations, private events, festivals, and community events
• Assist with setup, teardown, cleaning, and other general food-truck duties

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable driving a food truck
• Oregon Food Handler Card required
• Reliable transportation to and from the company's home base
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to follow written procedures and checklists
• Able to follow food-safety requirements
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to perform routine lifting, stocking, cleaning, and food-service duties
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

The business operates 5–7 days per week, with schedules varying based on locations, events, staffing, and business needs.

Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is important.

Full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities may be available.

Weekly overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs and event schedules.
