Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM during training. Regular schedule will be swing/night shift hours.

Compensation: $17.00/hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Controlling irrigation system to convey water to farms in assigned areas,
• Measure or estimate diversions of water from canals to water users and calculate record quantities delivers for use in computing charges to farmers
• Regular patrols are assigned to detect leaks, breaks, weak areas or obstructions/damages to the irrigation system
• Remove debris and make emergency repairs to banks structures, gates and canal roads
• Fill holes and exterminate rodents
• May also need to patrol at night to check that water is flowing at prescribed volume into users ditches.
