Looking for a dependable and hands-on job in food production? We are seeking a Swing Shift Packaging Associate to join our team in Salem, Oregon. Job Responsibilities:

• Bagging: Rotate between bagging tortillas on different production lines to ensure quality standards are met.
• Packing: Pack the bagged tortillas into boxes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Other Duties: Additional tasks related to packaging and production may be assigned as needed.

Principal Duties & Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work standing for up to 10 hours.
• Manual Dexterity: Must be able to pack at required speeds with good hand-eye coordination.
• Communication Skills: Basic reading and writing skills to follow instructions and labels.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when packing products.
• Working Environment:
  • Busy and noisy production area.
  • Wet or dry conditions with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
  • Some exposure to hazardous materials, with proper safety precautions.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Production demands may require overtime, including weekends.

Qualifications:

• Prior food production or packaging experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to maintain focus and meet productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.
