Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer for an established manufacturing company in Kenilworth, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machinery, reading blueprints, setting up machines, and producing precision-machined components. We are looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to manufacture precision parts.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve machining efficiency.
Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling configurations, and machining parameters.
Perform machine setups, tool changes, and necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues.
Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
Maintain equipment and follow established safety procedures.
Previous experience as a CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, or CNC Programmer.
Hands-on CNC programming and machine setup experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and machining tolerances.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualified candidates with CNC machining, programming, or machine setup experience are encouraged to apply.
