Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Microbiologist to join a growing laboratory team. This position is ideal for candidates with a science background who are passionate about quality, research, and laboratory testing in a professional environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis on samples
• Prepare and maintain laboratory cultures, media, and reagents
• Conduct routine laboratory procedures and document results accurately
• Monitor and evaluate test data to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with calibration activities
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety standards, and company procedures
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate laboratory records
• Assist with investigations and corrective actions when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred
• Previous laboratory experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately collect, analyze, and document data
• Proficient with computer systems and laboratory software
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
