Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of residential and/or commercial properties. This position will perform a variety of general maintenance, repair, and property improvement tasks while ensuring properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout rental properties.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixture repairs.
• Repair doors, cabinets, locks, faucets, toilets, and other property fixtures.
• Perform minor appliance and equipment repairs as needed.
• Complete turnover and make-ready work between tenants.
• Assist with interior and exterior property maintenance.
• Perform landscaping, yard cleanup, and other outdoor maintenance as needed.
• Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs or safety concerns to management.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
• Assist with other property maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair common property maintenance issues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests.
• Professional and courteous when interacting with tenants, property owners, and management.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.

Work Environment:
This position may require working indoors and outdoors and traveling between properties. The role may involve standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting materials or equipment.
