Traffic Director (Part-Time)

Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Afternoon Shift
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Location: Distribution Facility

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Traffic Director to support operations at a busy distribution facility. In this role, you will help coordinate vehicle traffic, direct drivers, monitor trailer movements, and ensure the safe and efficient flow of transportation activities throughout the site.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct inbound and outbound truck traffic.
• Communicate with drivers regarding parking, staging, and dock assignments.
• Monitor and maintain safe traffic flow throughout the facility.
• Track arrivals, departures, and trailer locations.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel and transportation teams.
• Address traffic issues and assist with operational needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or traffic coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors as needed.

Schedule & Pay

• Part-Time
• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Afternoon Shift: 1:45 PM – 8:00 PM
• Weekday and weekend availability required
• $24.00 per hour
