Delivery Assistant
We a searching for reliable, mechanically inclined, and self-motivated individuals for a Delivery Assistant opening in Howell, MI.
About the Company: We specialize in appliance and HVAC delivery to company or clients throughout Southeast Michigan.
Pay Rate: $20 hour
1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime during the week if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload delivery trucks by using pallet jacks or appliance dollies.
- Unbox, move, carry, and place appliances and HVAC equipment.
- Verify deliveries with order slips.
- Assist with warehouse receiving, stocking, organizing, and staging inventory.
Requirements:
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with occasionally maneuver items up to 100 lbs. with assistance or proper equipment.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Strong customer service skills.
