Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Entry-Level IT Support Technician for a respected community health organization in Morgantown, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with IT support, help desk, desktop support, or technical support experience looking to build a career in information technology.

In this role, you'll provide both phone and onsite technical support while gaining hands-on experience with computer hardware, software, networking, and enterprise systems in a professional healthcare environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
• Location: Morgantown, WV
• Full-Time

IT Support Technician Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone and onsite for hardware, software, and application issues
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve computer and technology-related problems
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT personnel when necessary
• Log, track, and document support requests using a help desk ticketing system
• Perform diagnostics to identify the source of technical issues
• Install, configure, and test computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions
• Deliver exceptional customer service to administrative and clinical staff
• Assist with additional IT projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or previous experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, IP telephony, and related technologies is a plus
• Experience with computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, and PC maintenance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
