We’re looking for energetic, detail-oriented people who like working with their hands, running equipment, and seeing the results of their work come to life.

As a Production Operator, you’ll be part of the team turning raw rubber and components into high-quality molded parts. You’ll work directly with production equipment, molds, tools, and materials while playing a hands-on role in keeping production moving efficiently and safely.

 

?? What You’ll Be Doing
Run molding presses and keep production moving smoothly.

Prepare and mix rubber materials using ovens or hot plates.

Cut rubber strips and hand-load rubber and metal inserts.

Load molds and operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Monitor press operation and recognize when equipment or processes aren't performing correctly.

Keep an eye on your parts and catch cosmetic or quality issues early.

Perform first-piece and first-article inspections.

Count finished parts, separate anything that doesn’t meet specifications, and accurately record production data.

Follow job routings, work instructions, and production specifications.

Keep your workspace clean, organized, and ready for action.

Follow quality, safety, and production procedures every step of the way.

Report safety, quality, equipment, scrap, or personnel concerns to the Production Manager.

Participate in team committees and special projects when assigned.

Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

 

?? This Job Is Hands-On
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk kind of job. You’ll be on your feet, working directly with production equipment, molds, tools, and materials in a steady paced manufacturing environment.

Heavy molds are part of the job.

Standing for extended periods is required.

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Shift assignments may change based on production needs.

?? What Makes Someone Great at This Job?
We’re looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, hands-on, and comfortable working around production equipment. You don’t have to be a polymer expert, but you should understand how to work with tools, equipment, and mechanical processes.

Mechanically inclined with a natural ability to understand how equipment works.

Comfortable using hand tools and basic mechanical tools.

Able to troubleshoot equipment and recognize when something isn’t operating correctly.

Experience working with machinery, presses, production equipment, or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Able to read and follow detailed work instructions, routings, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing consistent, quality parts.

Good manual dexterity and the ability to work confidently with your hands.

Organized and able to stay focused in a fast-paced production environment.

Able to think logically, solve problems, and use good judgment.

Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to take ownership of your work.

Comfortable working around heat, heavy molds, and industrial equipment.

Polymer/rubber molding experience is preferred, but not required.

If you know your way around tools, understand machinery, and take pride in doing things right, you’ll fit right in.

 

?? Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Polymer/rubber molding experience preferred.

Manufacturing or machine-operating experience is a plus.

Mechanical experience or familiarity with hand tools is highly valued.

Ability to read and understand written work instructions.

Must be physically capable of lifting and handling heavy molds
