Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Job Description

We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Lumpers to join a busy Logistics and Distribution operation in West Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and are comfortable performing physical warehouse work.

As a Warehouse Lumper, you will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading freight, moving products throughout the warehouse, breaking down shipments, and preparing freight for storage or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and containers
• Move freight and materials to designated warehouse locations
• Sort, separate, stack, and organize incoming products
• Break down pallets and rebuild or restack loads as needed
• Verify products and quantities while unloading shipments
• Assist with palletizing and wrapping products for storage or shipment
• Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as assigned
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies
• Report damaged products or shipment discrepancies to supervisors
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Work efficiently with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, unloading, loading, distribution, or lumper experience is preferred
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, stack, and move warehouse materials
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Must be available to work the required training schedule of 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM before transitioning to the regular 2nd-shift schedule
