Salary: 45/hr.

 

We are seeking an HRIS Implementation Consultant to assist with system configuration, workflow development, process improvement, testing, documentation, training, and implementation of new modules in Tyler Munis for a local government division.

This is a contract position, anticipated to last approximately 6 months, and requiring 30-32 hours per week. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assess existing HRIS configuration and business processes
  • Support implementation of new HRIS modules
  • Configure workflows and system functionality
  • Work with HR, IT and the software vendor
  • Translate HR business requirements into system requirements
  • Help with data validation/cleanup and integration issues
  • Develop documentation and SOPs
  • Assist with manager/employee self-service
  • Develop and create HR reports
  • Build comprehensive HR Dashboard within Tyler Munis or using Power BI or similar platform
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes, duplicate data entry, and inefficient workflows.
  • Assist with HR reporting and compliance-related data requirements.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, employee records, payroll, and other HR business processes from an HRIS perspective.
  • Participate in HR technology initiatives, system optimization efforts, implementations, and other special projects.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Approximately 3-5 years of progressive HRIS experience, including hands-on responsibility for HR systems administration, configuration, implementation, support, or optimization.
  • General understanding of Human Resources business processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Tyler Munis HRIS and/or Payroll is strongly preferred.
  • Experience configuring or optimizing HRIS applications, workflows, business rules, security, and reporting.
  • Experience troubleshooting HRIS issues involving application functionality, data, workflows, integrations, or user access.
  • Experience supporting system upgrades, implementations, integrations, or significant configuration changes.
  • Strong understanding of HR data management, employee records, payroll processes, and HR reporting.
  • Experience working with recruiting or talent-management applications such as NEOGOV is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with HR data and reporting.
