Our client, a global manufacturer of agricultural machinery, is looking for an Assembly & Logistics Manager to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily assembly operations to ensure production targets and quality requirements are met
• Lead, supervise, and develop assembly technicians, warehouse associates, and logistics staff
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics (receiving, warehousing, inventory control, order staging)
• Coordinate transportation and shipping activities with freight carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers
• Optimize assembly workflows, labour utilization, equipment usage, and warehouse processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, inventory audits, and ERP/WMS system management
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, import/export procedures, and workplace safety standards
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Service, and Operations teams to ensure efficient material flow and customer fulfillment
• Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to assembly, inventory accuracy, shipping performance, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency
• Assist with operational budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocation
• Support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities when required
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive working environment
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Assembly, Warehouse Management, or Logistics
• Minimum 2-3 years of Supervisory or Management experience in a Manufacturing or Logistics environment
• Experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience within the Agricultural equipment, Automotive, Industrial equipment, or Machinery (asset)
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement training/certification
• Experience managing cross-border shipping and international logistics
• Knowledge of Canadian customs regulations and import/export documentation

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per annum
