Weigh Room Operator

Pay: $19.50/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Weigh Room Operator to join a growing manufacturing team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for accurately weighing raw materials, preparing batches for production, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, factory, warehouse, or machine operator environments are encouraged to apply.

This is considered an Operator 2 level position and offers the opportunity to become a direct hire employee. Upon permanent hire, pay increases to $22.50/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Weigh & verify raw materials for production batches
• Transfer raw materials to the weigh area
• Set up pallets of weighed batches according to batch records
• Assist with material staging & movement throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate documentation & records
• Follow established quality, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Support cross-training efforts in dry mix & capsule operations
• Work closely with team members to maintain efficient production flow

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Above-average math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods & perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English
• Previous manufacturing, production, factory, warehouse, or machine operator experience is helpful but not required
• Must be willing and able to complete respirator fit testing & maintain a clean-shaven face as required for proper respirator use
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Team-oriented mindset & willingness to learn additional processes

Work Environment:

This position works within a manufacturing environment and may involve varying temperatures, material handling, and production equipment. Safety, quality, and accuracy are critical components of the role.
