A high-end manufacturer of health and personal care products in Burbank is seeking a dependable and motivated Mixer Operator to join their production team.

Summary: This position is responsible for accurately measuring and mixing ingredients according to established formulas, maintaining clean and sanitary production equipment, packaging finished products, and supporting various production and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow written instructions and production procedures. Strong attention to detail and good common sense are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mixing and production equipment according to company procedures and product specifications.
• Accurately measure and weigh ingredients according to established formulas and recipes.
• Mix and blend ingredients to produce finished products according to specifications.
• Complete required production and data-tracking forms accurately and legibly.
• Work in multiple production areas, including the washroom, mixing room, filler room, and warehouse as needed.
• Disassemble production equipment for cleaning and sanitation.
• Wash and sanitize machinery and equipment by hand using hoses and appropriate cleaning procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Assist with filling, packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
• Follow all company safety, quality, sanitation, and production procedures.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, production, mixing, batching, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English and complete production and data-tracking forms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow recipes and written instructions.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Good common sense and sound judgment in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to perform a variety of production duties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, or personal care manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, push, pull, and handle production equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working in a washroom and production environment where regular equipment cleaning and sanitation are required.
