Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations Agent to support daily freight and shipment operations. The Operations Agent will coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain accurate shipment records, prepare documentation, track freight, assist with billing, and communicate with customers, carriers, airlines, warehouses, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Process and coordinate customer shipment bookings for domestic and international freight.

Enter shipment information accurately into transportation and warehouse management systems.

Create and maintain shipment records, including MAWB/HAWB information, routing instructions, and shipment details.

Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams.

Prepare shipping documentation and ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant.

Communicate with customers, airlines, carriers, warehouses, and destination offices to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.

Assist with billing by reviewing shipment charges, preparing invoices, and researching and resolving billing discrepancies.

Perform accurate and timely data entry while maintaining organized shipment records.

Monitor shipment activity and prepare operational reports as needed.

Review shipment information for accuracy and identify potential delays or issues.

Support daily operational activities and help ensure shipments move efficiently and according to customer requirements.

Provide professional and responsive customer service throughout the shipment process.

Follow company procedures, transportation requirements, and applicable shipping regulations.

Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, shipping, or operations preferred.

Experience handling domestic and/or international shipments is a plus.

Familiarity with MAWB/HAWB, freight documentation, shipment tracking, and routing preferred.

Strong computer and data-entry skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, airlines, warehouses, and internal departments.
