Vac Truck Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Vac Truck Driver to join a local construction team. This position requires an experienced CDL driver who is comfortable operating a large commercial vehicle on active job sites and assisting with the physical aspects of vac truck operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vacuum truck to and from construction job sites

• Maneuver and back the truck into tight or confined spaces

• Maintain strong awareness of surroundings, equipment, coworkers, and job-site hazards

• Assist with moving, dragging, positioning, and clamping heavy vacuum hoses

• Set up and break down hoses and equipment at each job site

• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures

• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep truck and equipment clean and in safe operating condition

• Assist the construction crew with additional duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL required

• Tanker endorsement required

• Clean/acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a large commercial vehicle

• Comfortable backing into tight spaces and working around other equipment

• Must be alert and maintain excellent situational awareness

• Ability to perform physical work, including dragging, lifting, positioning, and clamping hoses

• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well as part of a crew

Vac truck, construction, heavy-equipment, or similar commercial driving experience is preferred.
