Welder II – 1st Shift

Location: Round Rock, TX
Pay: $23–$25/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

A growing precision manufacturing company in Round Rock, TX is looking for a Welder II with hands-on welding experience who is ready to build their skills and grow into more specialized welding work.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in TIG/GTAW, tack welding, fabrication, or stainless steel who wants to gain experience with precision welding, orbital welding, and high-purity manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Perform TIG/GTAW and precision tack welding

• Fit, align, and prepare stainless steel tubing and components

• Complete detailed welding primarily at a seated workstation

• Learn and operate orbital welding equipment

• Follow blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and work instructions

• Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to check your work

• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy

• Work within established tolerances and quality standards

• Work in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment, including areas requiring cleanroom PPE

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation

What We’re Looking For

• Previous welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience

• Hands-on TIG/GTAW or tack welding experience

• Experience with stainless steel is a plus

• Basic experience reading blueprints, drawings, or weld symbols

• Comfortable using basic measuring and inspection tools

• Good attention to detail and quality

• Comfortable performing detailed welding while seated

• Willing and eager to learn orbital welding

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required PPE

• Dependable, coachable, and interested in developing stronger welding skills

• AWS or ASME certifications are a plus, but not required

You don't need to be a master welder. We're looking for someone with a good welding foundation who is ready to learn, improve, and take the next step in their career.
