Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Commercial Foundation Construction Worker for a growing steel building and general contracting company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong construction background who wants to develop into a skilled Craftsman/Tradesman while working on commercial and residential projects throughout the area.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience and be ready to jump in and assist with foundation development, steel building construction, concrete reinforcement, and site preparation.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Assist with commercial and residential foundation construction projects

✅ Help build and install rebar cages for concrete foundations

✅ Support site preparation, layout, excavation, and foundation work

✅ Work alongside supervisors and skilled tradesmen on commercial and residential projects

✅ Assist with red iron steel building construction

✅ Read and follow construction plans and specifications

✅ Perform material handling, job site setup, and general construction duties

✅ Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications

✅ Strong construction background

✅ Commercial or residential foundation experience preferred

✅ Experience with concrete, rebar, steel structures, or general contracting

✅ Ability to read blueprints or construction drawings

✅ Welding experience is a plus

✅ Experience with heavy equipment is a plus

✅ Architectural, engineering, or construction-related education and/or experience is highly valued

✅ Desire to learn, grow, and become a skilled trades professional

CDL Preferred

🚛 CDL is not required, but highly preferred.

Candidates with a CDL may spend approximately 20% of their time:

• Transporting heavy equipment between job sites
• Assisting with equipment pickups and deliveries
• Loading and securing heavy equipment on trailers
• Properly tying down equipment for safe transport

For highly qualified candidates, the company may help obtain a CDL in the future.
