Maintenance

Located in Kalamazoo, MI

Pay: $21/hr

Duration: (1-2 months) but can end up being permanent.

Shift: 1st (8 – 5 or similar)

Responsibilities:

• Perform general property maintenance, repairs, and upkeep, including basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues to help keep properties safe, functional, and well maintained.
• Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings, fixtures, equipment, and property grounds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous property maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and general repairs.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
