Forklift Operator / Logistics Associate

🕒 Primary Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a logistics operation in Foley. This position requires candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious, and flexible with scheduling needs. While forklift operation will be a primary responsibility, team members will also assist with other logistics and operational duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials

✅ Assist with logistics operations, including loading and unloading hopper trucks and Seabulk operations when needed

✅ Count, track, and move materials accurately throughout the facility

✅ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including daily housekeeping and sweeping duties

✅ Follow all safety procedures and company policies

✅ Work effectively as part of a team to support production and logistics goals

Requirements

✅ Previous forklift experience required

✅ Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

✅ Willingness to perform duties both on and off the forklift

✅ Strong attention to detail and reliability

✅ Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

✅ Dependable transportation and attendance

✅ Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic

Schedule & Overtime Expectations

• Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis
• Some workdays may extend beyond the regular shift
• Weekend work may be required
• Candidates must be open to transitioning to shift work in the future if business needs change
