Maintenance Manager

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Maintenance Manager for one of the oldest and most respected funeral homes in Delaware. Our client is a family-owned business with four funeral home locations (New Castle, Newark, Delaware City and Middletown). The position is full-time with a mandatory on-call requirement of at least one week a time.

The candidate must be skilled and experienced in building and grounds maintenance, and be meticulous, detail-driven, and proactive about maintenance issues. The candidate must also be comfortable handling decedents and will have a mandatory on-call schedule for removals.

Requirements:

•   Skilled in facility maintenance, including basic electrical and plumbing work, HVAC, lighting, painting, and exterior upkeep
• Familiarity with tools of the trade
• Excellent organizational skills and time management with the ability to rank and prioritize multiple projects at once
• MUST have a car

This is a Direct Hire position with benefits including:

Regular hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm. Hourly employees who work over 40 hours a week will be paid time and a half.
The on-call rotation begins Monday at 4:30pm through Monday at 8:00 am. 
$200 retainer for being on call plus $125 to $175 for removals.
