We're recruiting residential electricians for steady, hands-on work at jobsites throughout Northwest Illinois on their behalf, with pay up to $44/hour based on your experience, skills, and ability to work independently.

What You'll Do

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.

Install and replace wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, breakers, panels, circuits, and other electrical components.

Run wiring for new construction, remodels, additions, and electrical upgrades.

Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate repairs.

Assist with or independently perform panel, service, and circuit installations and upgrades based on experience.

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, job specifications, and electrical plans.

Use meters and testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues.

Follow NEC requirements, applicable local codes, and company safety procedures.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.

Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, coworkers, and supervisors.

Travel to residential jobsites throughout Northwest Illinois.
We're Hiring at Multiple Skill Levels
Apprentice-Level Electricians
-
Electrical, construction, trade school, or related hands-on experience preferred.

Basic understanding of electrical tools, wiring, and safe work practices.

Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to continue learning the electrical trade.

Ability to follow instructions and work alongside experienced electricians.
Experienced/Journeyman Electricians

Strong residential electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.

Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical problems.

Experience with residential wiring, panels, circuits, service work, remodels, and upgrades.

Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety.

Journeyman or applicable electrical license preferred for candidates seeking the upper end of the pay range.
What We're Looking For

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites is a must.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, ladders, meters, and testing equipment.

Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in attics, basements, and other residential environments.

Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Northwest Illinois.

Professional attitude and demeanor.
Pay & Career Growth
$22.00–$44.00 per hour, based on experience, electrical knowledge, demonstrated skill level, licensing, and ability to work independently.
