Shipping Manager

Location: Valdosta, GA

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Manage shipping schedules, carrier relationships, and transportation logistics.
Supervise warehouse and shipping personnel, providing leadership, training, and performance guidance.
Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and shipping procedures.
Analyze shipping metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and customer concerns in a timely manner.

Schedule & Pay

Full-Time Position
Monday through Friday (with occasional overtime as needed)
Competitive pay based on experience

Qualifications

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations required.
Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of shipping regulations, freight carriers, and logistics best practices.
