Housekeeper Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas
- Clean restrooms, offices, common areas, hallways, and other facility spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock cleaning supplies and restroom essentials as needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Utilize cleaning equipment, chemicals, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Adapt to changing priorities and facility needs
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, cleaning, or environmental services experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Effective communication skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
This Housekeeper position requires the ability to:
- Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning supplies and equipment
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Wear required PPE and work uniform as needed
