Temporary Project Assignment

A custom extrusion and CNC fabrication manufacturing facility in Chippewa Falls is seeking dependable individuals for an immediate opening as a CNC Router Operator. This temporary project is expected to last approximately one week and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get to work right away while gaining experience in a manufacturing & production environment.
This is a straightforward, hands-on position operating a CNC router table. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a coachable attitude. Previous CNC experience is helpful, but candidates with manufacturing, production, factory, machine operator, or equipment operator experience are encouraged to apply.
Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $22.00/hour
Training Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Available Shifts Following Training:
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
3rd Shift: Monday-Saturday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Employment Type: Temporary Project (Estimated at least 1 Week)
Job Duties
- Load parts onto the CNC router table
- Start & monitor machine operation
- Remove completed parts from the machine
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications using measuring tools such as calipers when needed
- Follow production schedules & work instructions
- Maintain a clean & safe work area
- Work as part of a manufacturing team to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Manufacturing, production, factory, machine operator, production operator, or equipment operator experience is helpful but not required
- Previous CNC router experience is preferred; experience using calipers to perform basic measurements & quality checks is preferred
- Ability to follow directions & learn new processes
- Reliable attendance & punctuality
- Strong work ethic & positive attitude
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform general production duties throughout the shift
