As the Fiscal Manager, You'll Be Responsible For:

• Directing and overseeing the Department's accounting operations, financial reporting, and fiscal management activities.
• Managing general ledger, fund accounting, project accounting, and expenditure controls.
• Supervising accounts payable, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting functions.
• Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial systems.
• Providing financial analysis, recommendations, and guidance to executive leadership and program administrators.
• Participating in long-range financial planning, budget development, revenue forecasting, and expenditure monitoring.
• Overseeing compliance with State, federal, and departmental fiscal policies and regulations.
• Leading annual audits, coordinating audit responses, and ensuring implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitoring grants, special funding sources, procurement activities, and budget execution.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Managing accounting staff, establishing performance goals, and supporting employee development.
• Serving as a key resource on complex accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management matters.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to leadership.

Our Ideal Fiscal Manager Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in accounting, fiscal management, budgeting, financial reporting, or governmental finance.
• Previous supervisory or management experience overseeing accounting or finance staff.
• Experience with government, public sector, healthcare, or grant-funded environments is highly preferred.
