Aerospace Program Manager

Location: West Chester, OH

Shift: 1st

Pay: $100K annualy

Job Description:

The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned aerospace customer programs, overseeing schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction from award through delivery. This hands-on role works closely with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve manufacturing challenges, improve processes, and strengthen MRP/ERP system utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of program management experience within the aerospace industry, preferably in component or systems manufacturing.
  • Experience managing programs for major aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and MRP/ERP systems; PLEX experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment and collaborate directly with shop floor teams.
  • Strong customer communication, relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schedule, cost, and quality data.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, aerospace quality requirements, and applicable regulatory or ITAR/export control requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program performance, including schedules, budgets, quality metrics, risks, and on-time delivery.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, managing program communications, reviews, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, risk registers, action plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Lead cross-functional program reviews and coordinate activities across production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Work directly on the production floor to identify and resolve bottlenecks, quality issues, and schedule risks.
  • Identify root causes of recurring manufacturing problems and drive corrective actions and sustainable process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, MRP/ERP data accuracy, planning workflows, and system utilization.
  • Support capacity planning, new program launches, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with customer and aerospace requirements.
