Aerospace Business Development Manager

Pay: $130 - $150K annually

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the U.S. aviation market, focusing on aircraft GSE, MROs, airlines, leasing companies, and related industries. This role will manage the full business development cycle, build strategic customer relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic sales, or account management within aviation, aerospace, GSE, tooling, or related industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Experience managing complex sales opportunities and long sales cycles from qualification through contract award.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and proposal-development skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with technical, commercial, procurement, operations, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations, GSE, tooling, or technical service environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% for customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities across the U.S. aviation market.
  • Manage RFI/RFQ responses, proposals, bid strategies, pricing input, stakeholder coordination, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, MROs, GSE customers, leasing companies, and other aviation decision-makers.
  • Partner with engineering, product management, and operations teams to develop customer-specific GSE and tooling solutions.
  • Conduct customer site visits, business reviews, and industry event meetings to identify opportunities and gather feedback.
  • Execute business development strategies aligned with company growth, revenue, and market objectives.
  • Monitor aviation market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Support long-term account growth by identifying opportunities for expanded products, services, and customer partnerships.
