Temporary Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) / Food Service Worker

We are looking for a Temporary Food Service Worker with a current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification to join our team as we prepare to launch a new food service operation. We are hoping to start as early as next week and need a dependable professional who can step in quickly.

This is not a full-time management position. We are seeking someone who can work with us during scheduled food preparation and service periods while helping maintain food safety and compliance standards.

What You'll Be Serving

Our initial menu includes:

• Shawarma
• Suya
• Jollof Rice
• Jerk Chicken Wings
• Coleslaw
• Plantains

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and food service operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor proper food storage, handling, and temperature controls
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all health department regulations and food safety guidelines
• Support kitchen operations during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification from an accredited program
• Ability to provide proof of current certification
• Previous commercial kitchen or food service experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and proper food handling procedures
• Reliable attendance and availability for temporary, scheduled shifts
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

$22.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
