Gaming PC Assembly Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Gaming PC Assembly Technician to build, upgrade, configure, and test custom gaming computers. This role requires strong computer knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed build instructions. Candidates should be comfortable working with computer hardware, troubleshooting components, and performing quality inspections in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble and upgrade gaming PCs according to build specifications.
Configure and install computer components, including hardware upgrades.
Test completed systems and individual components to ensure functionality.
Install operating systems and software according to company procedures.
Prepare parts for installation while following anti-static handling procedures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot defective components and systems as needed.
Perform quality inspections to verify build accuracy and performance.
Assist with warehouse and material handling duties when required.
Cross-train in multiple operational areas to support production needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

Strong computer literacy and knowledge of PC hardware.
Experience assembling, upgrading, or repairing computers preferred.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented with a positive and dependable work ethic.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, sit, and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, and reach overhead.
Ability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, and materials.
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
Ability to work in a production or warehouse environment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
