Storage Installer
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Storage Installer for a short-term project at the UW-Eau Claire Health & Science Building. This position will assist with the installation of storage systems, including cabinets, shelving, and storage carriages.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in installation, construction, maintenance, general labor, or other hands-on roles who are comfortable using tools and working in an active jobsite environment.
Job Duties
- Install cabinets, shelving, and storage system components
- Move materials throughout the jobsite using pallet jacks
- Use hand and power tools, including drills and hammers
- Assist with assembly and installation activities
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move 50-100 lbs.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work safely in a construction and installation environment
- Reliable attendance throughout the duration of the project
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Safety Requirements
- Steel-toe footwear required
- Fluorescent safety shirt required (can be provided if needed)
- Safety glasses, hard hat, and hearing protection will be provided
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the jobsite
Transferable Experience Welcome
Candidates with experience as an Installer, Construction Laborer, Maintenance Technician, Technician, Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Automotive Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Operator may have skills that transfer well to this opportunity.
