Maintenance Technician — Weekend Shift

 

Company Information:

A production company is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their Weekend Production Crew! This is a direct hire opportunity with a unique weekend schedule that allows you to work only three days per week while earning the equivalent of a 40-hour workweek.

 

This position is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment while supporting equipment reliability, preventative maintenance initiatives, and overall production uptime. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.

 

Maintenance Technician Pay/Benefits:

• Up to $35/HR (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday / 4:45AM - 5:15PM
• Three 12-hour shifts each week

Job Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine control issues
• Troubleshoot high-voltage electrical systems and advanced low-voltage control circuits
• Support equipment reliability initiatives and recommend solutions for recurring equipment failures
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to other maintenance personnel as needed
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, equipment documentation, and P&IDs
• Document maintenance activities, repair history, troubleshooting findings, and corrective actions
• Follow all safety, GMP, lockout/tagout, hazardous energy control, and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support production uptime through efficient troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment

Requirements:

• Technical certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, machine controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation preferred
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while complying with safety and GMP standards
• Ability to lift, climb, crouch, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding maintenance activities
