Position Overview
We are seeking an agility-driven and detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Operator (Operator 1) to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will execute technical manufacturing operations to safely assemble life-saving medical devices while adhering strictly to structural product specifications and strict corporate quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
  • Technical Assembly: Perform entry-level technical assembly processes, including bonding, soldering, manual component assembly, and microscopic visual inspections.
  • Quality & Compliance: Adhere strictly to established Quality Systems and Good Documentation Practices by meticulously tracking material item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities on device history records.
  • Safety Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation while properly wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Team Synergy: Report any unsafe conditions or product discrepancies immediately, and collaborate effectively with team operators to meet daily safety and output metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Skills: Strong manual dexterity, physical agility, and the technical aptitude required to perform intricate manufacturing and fine-motor tasks.
  • Experience: Prior experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment or a production role involving detailed inspection loops is preferred but not required—comprehensive onboarding training is provided.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) to ensure accurate logging of operational counts and tracking tracking fields.
  • Core Qualities: Highly vigilant regarding workplace safety protocols, detail-oriented when executing multi-layered instructions, and a reliable team player.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Cleanroom Dynamics: Work is performed in a fast-paced, highly structured, and pristine, climate-controlled cleanroom facility where meeting daily production deadlines requires consistent focus.
  • Strict Gowning Protocols: Associates must follow strict cleanroom gowning requirements, including wearing full suits, hairnets, and masks. There is a complete restriction on personal items like jewelry, makeup, or nail polish in the cleanroom.
  • Repetitive Execution: The role requires a high degree of repetitive manual task execution and standing or sitting at production benches for long periods.
