OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fabrication Clerk to provide administrative and operational support on the production floor. This role works closely with fabrication and production teams to track materials, maintain production records, monitor scrap and waste, and assist with documentation related to sheet metal manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, organized, and able to communicate effectively with multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and track sheet metal scrap, waste, and material usage throughout production
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and fabrication records
• Collect and document information from production teams regarding daily operations
• Enter data into company databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems
• Assist with inventory tracking and material reconciliation
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and warehouse departments to ensure accurate documentation
• Generate production reports and maintain organized records
• Review paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Support production scheduling and workflow tracking as needed
• Maintain filing systems and production documentation
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to material usage and scrap reduction
• Follow company safety policies and manufacturing procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous administrative, manufacturing, production, or fabrication experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, or sheet metal processes is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
