Injection Operator (2nd Shift) (A1978)

Salary: $21.10 a hour

Our client in Cleveland, OH immediately needs a 2nd Shift Injection Operator.  This is a Temp to Hire position, and the pay is $18 per Hour + $2.10 Shift Differential.

The right person will have excellent attendance and arrive to work on time daily!

Essential Functions:

• Inject low-pressure ceramic cores
• Fulfill specified manufacturing steps in accordance with specified engineering procedures
• Maintain quality and standards
• Prepare dies for injection
• Obtain slurry, inject cores, and remove from die
• Place cores in alcohol bath as required
• Burn off the excess alcohol
• Visually and dimensionally inspect cores per Engineering procedure
• Report all problems to Supervision, Maintenance or Engineering as required
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow instructions, interpret procedures and problem solve
• Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime
• Willingness and ability to learn and perform previous tasks and new assignments
• Must have solid work history in manufacturing
• Experience in the following operations of manufacturing will be a PLUS:  

Die Set up; Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance;   loading/unloading of ceramic parts; Visual inspection and gage
