Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Pool Maintenance Technician to service and maintain residential and/or commercial swimming pools. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can manage a daily service route with minimal supervision.

The Pool Maintenance Technician will be responsible for routine pool cleaning, water testing and chemical balancing, equipment inspections, and identifying maintenance or repair needs. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools and spas
Test pool water and adjust chemicals to maintain proper water balance
Brush pool walls, steps, tile, and other surfaces
Vacuum pools and remove leaves and debris
Empty skimmer and pump baskets
Clean and maintain pool filters
Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, valves, and other pool equipment
Identify leaks, equipment problems, and other maintenance or repair needs
Perform minor pool equipment repairs when qualified
Maintain accurate service records for each property
Safely handle, transport, and store pool chemicals
Maintain an organized service vehicle and inventory of supplies
Communicate professionally with customers regarding pool conditions or service concerns
Follow assigned service routes and complete scheduled work efficiently
Follow company safety procedures and proper chemical-handling practices

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Minimum 2 years of prior pool maintenance experience
Dependable transportation to and from work
Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
Comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, and changing weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting ability
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Pool maintenance or equipment repair experience is a plus
Knowledge of pumps, motors, filters, salt systems, and basic plumbing is a plus

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
