Auto- CAD Operator

Location: Indian Trail, NC Area
Pay: $24–$28/hour, depending on experience
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Operator to create permit and shop drawings for highly customized projects. This position works closely with project management, sales, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure drawings are accurate and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create permit and shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Manage multiple drawing projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Prepare drawings for internal review and engineering approval
• Support the bill of materials process through accurate drawings and documentation
• Review and check your own work for accuracy before submitting drawings for final review
• Collaborate virtually with offsite engineers and internal departments

Requirements

• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience creating detailed shop or production drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• SolidWorks experience is a plus
