Position Overview Material Handler / Press Support Associate

A growing manufacturing and printing company in South Charlotte is hiring a Material Handler / Press Support Associate to support production operations by preparing and staging materials for printing presses. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to read job tickets accurately, and a commitment to keeping production flowing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Material Handler / Press Support Associate

• Prepare and stage materials for production according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret job tickets to ensure correct materials are delivered to press operators.
• Locate pallets using labels, part numbers, and product identification information.
• Transport materials and supplies to designated press areas.
• Complete required production and inventory paperwork accurately.
• Assist with unboxing materials and supplies during downtime.
• Maintain organized work areas and assist with general housekeeping duties.
• Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Material Handler / Press Support Associate

• Ability to read and understand job tickets, labels, and production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Legible handwriting and ability to complete paperwork clearly.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to identify products using part numbers and labels.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements Material Handler / Press Support Associate

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent walking throughout the facility.
• Regular bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule & Pay Material Handler / Press Support Associate

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• $18.00 per hour
