Beverage Warehouse Order Picker

Location: Lakeland Florida 33811
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 5:30 PM – Until Finish

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Order Pickers for a fast-paced beverage distribution facility in Lakeland. This position involves selecting and handling cases of wine, spirits, and other beverage products while ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with full benefits and an increase in pay once hired on permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and select cases of wine, spirits, and other beverage products according to customer orders.

• Manually handle, sort, move, and stage cases throughout the picking area.

• Verify products and quantities to ensure order accuracy.

• Complete orders accurately and efficiently while meeting expected productivity standards.

• Properly handle products to minimize damage, breakage, and picking errors.

• Sort and stage completed orders for the next stage of distribution.

• Identify products and inventory accurately throughout the picking process.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.

• Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous order picking, warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.

• Ability to identify and differentiate products accurately.

• Comfortable maintaining a steady work pace throughout the shift.

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong safety awareness.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.

• Must be available to work until all assigned orders are completed.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring repetitive case handling throughout the shift. Associates should be prepared for:

• Continuous standing and walking.

• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and carrying.

• Repetitive lifting and movement of beverage cases.

• Manually moving and staging cases throughout the warehouse.

• Working at a consistent pace for the duration of the shift.

• Maximum lifting requirement to be confirmed.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday
Start Time: 5:30 PM
End Time: Until Finish

Because this is an until-finish shift, associates must have flexibility regarding their nightly end time.

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on attendance, performance, productivity, and business needs.

Once hired on permanently, employees are eligible for full benefits and an increase in pay.
