Entry-Level MIG Welder

 

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Entry-Level MIG Welders for a manufacturing company in the local area. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have basic welding experience, recently completed welding training, or are looking to continue developing their welding skills in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basic MIG welding on steel and metal components.

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of metal parts.

• Follow work orders, measurements, drawings, and basic blueprints.

• Inspect completed welds and parts for quality.

• Safely operate welding equipment and basic fabrication tools.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all company safety procedures.

• Work alongside experienced welders, supervisors, and production team members.

• Complete additional production and fabrication duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic MIG welding knowledge or hands-on welding experience.

• Welding school, vocational training, or previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.

• Basic understanding of measurements and shop drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Willingness to learn and develop welding and fabrication skills.

• Ability to safely lift and handle metal materials.

• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

• 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available.

• Full-time

Pay:

• Pay ranges from $22-$24 based on welding experience and skill level.
