Job Title: Shipping/Packing Associate
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Evaluation Hire
Summary:
Join a manufacturing team producing custom graphite components used in aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. This role focuses on packaging, shipping, receiving, inspection, and building custom shipping solutions to ensure products are delivered safely and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Pack and ship custom graphite parts according to specifications.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools and gauges.
- Build custom skids, pallets, and packaging for outgoing shipments.
- Measure, weigh, and prepare packages for shipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk throughout the shift on concrete floors.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work independently in an organized manner.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, scales, calipers, gauges, or measuring devices preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and dependable work ethic.

Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with graphite dust from CNC machining operations.
- Floors may be slippery at times.
- Forklift operation may be required.
- Exposure to hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and packaging materials.
